Actually, it's more of a terrible annoyance than a trick...
Katelyn has recently decided that she should scream when she doesn't get her way. Not cry...scream. Loudly. Eardrum-piercing loudly. Her face gets all red, her eyes are squeezed tight, and her mouth is open as far as she can make it go.
This has yet to work for her, yet she continues to try it out.
I wonder how long this will last. Because, really? I'm thinking if it doesn't end real soon, she's going to be spending a lot more time in her crib than she's used to.

My Caitlin started that about a month ago. I keep telling myself it's a phase.... but it keeps lasting! Luckily she understands negotiation, and if I validate her wants and needs she does better (even if I don't give in!). I think she sees me doing that with Brandon, and doesn't get why she doesn't get what she wants as well. Then there's Brandon..... that's a whole other story that I won't go into.
I actually do the same thing as Kate. Taser guns prove to be quite effective on me.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT KATE....IT IS ABOUT HER DADDY (& PADYN'S)...I THINK HE HAD A BIRTDHDAY & WE MISSED IT....SO, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY FROM ALL OF US AT PDV DOWNUNDER...HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT DAY WITH YOUR LOVELY FAMILY & FRIENDS ... KAZZ
Yeh, J went through a period of that about the same age. Can't remember how long it lasted. Little bugger drove us crazy. M thinks flicking him on the cheek helped. Boy were we glad when that was over, think it was about when he started high school. Tazers may work.
