Well, according to the x-ray of Kate's leg, she has no fracture. The doctor was very surprised. She was pretty positive that there was a break in there somewhere because of how Kate REFUSES to walk AT ALL.
She could still have a fracture somewhere that we didn't x-ray, like her foot or hip. But we'll wait until Friday and see if she improves any. If not, back on Friday for more x-rays.
But for now...HOORAY! No cast! Can you just imagine?

- What would you like to know? I'm 37, I (sort of) stay at home with my kids of whom I have three. My girls are 8 and 6 while the boy is 3. My husband brings me coffee in bed almost every morning, which just about makes him the best husband ever. Once, a long long time ago, I was an underpaid, extremely hard working elementary school teacher. Now, not only I am the teacher, but the nurse, janitor, secretary, principal and lunch lady. I'm just trying to figure out how to be a good mom, model the love of Jesus, and keep my house clean. I'll take all the help I can get.

Well that is good news! I hope she starts walking on her leg before Friday. Does she seem to be in pain all the time or just when you try to put her down? Need to borrow my baby sling? (just kidding)
It might be fun to decorate a cast for Christmas-- glitter and all. But, I don't wish that on you, even though it would be cute!
I'm glad to hear nothing's broken. I've sprained my leg/ankle a lot, and that also hurts a lot! Maybe she twisted or sprained something.
