Kate still refuses to walk or stand. I may try to get her an appointment with an orthopedist tomorrow. We can't x-ray it again until at least Friday, but it's not right that she still won't stand on it. Right?

I would encourage a visit to an ortho doc. Connective tissue injuries can often be much more painful than a straight out break. I hope it goes well, and she heals quickly.
Oh wow. Yep, I agree, go see an orthopedist. Just to be sure. We're praying for her (and you).
