"Mommy, I want more apricots."
"We don't have anymore, honey. We ate them all."
"We ate them all up?"
"Yes."
"And now Jesus is eating them?"
"Maybe..."
"Mommy, where is Jesus? Is He in our house and in our hearts?"
"Yes, baby, He is."
"Does Jesus like to cook?"
"I have no idea."

Are you kidding me? My mom loves your blog- I think she loves it more than mine. It's b/c of your compelling story telling. I do have to admit it is more fun to read your blog than mine and this month I am guaranteed fresh entries every day. Perhaps you should keep it up.

I love conversations like this.
I want you to know I never embellish on these conversations with Padyn. They are too random to need anything added to them for humor's sake. My child really thinks of these things. Just wait, Suz...it's all in store for you.
She's really stuck on this Jesus-in-her-tummy thing, isn't she? I wonder what Jesus will be eating next week?
Chicken nuggets?
Ya, I'm not sure where the whole Jesus in my tummy came from.
I'm surprised she hasn't commented on the chicken nuggets yet. She's pulling a Coley this week and has eaten those for dinner 3 nights in a row.
Of course Jesus likes to cook (hello, wine, loaves and fishes) but it's a whole lot easier than when we do it, and clean-up is a snap!
I thought of that after I told her I didn't know. Of course Jesus is into food. He probably wouldn't be considered a "foodie" but he enjoys his meals. I just have to get her to understand that he isn't eating hers.
