Earlier this morning I was looking at all the lovely comments left on my blog (thank you, thank you) and Padyn was sitting next to me eating her breakfast. She points to the seal with Yoda on it and the following conversation unfolds:
"Mommy, who is dat?"
"That's Yoda."
Questioned with apparent confusion, "Dat's YOUR Daddy?"
"No, that's Yoda."
"Dat's YOUR Daddy?"
"No, that's Yoda."
"Dat's YOUR Daddy?"
Mommy finally cluing into the fact that Yoda sounds like Your Dadda, "This is Yoda. He's a character in a movie called Star Wars."
After a thoughtful pause, "I no want to see THAT movie."
